Delph Woods

Henry, Sausage and Charlie at Delph Woods. Piccie by Alice Jeff on our group

A nice woodland with a stream… Some paths are gravel so it is an easier walk as it can be a bit muddy during the winter.

You can get access to the old Roman Road which will take you to Broadstone or Wimborne and the Willet Arms for coffee and lunch in the direction.

To get to the Willet Arms follow the green “dotted” line in the map. Making your way through the woods.. it’s the old Roman road/ railway runs parallel to the golf club green and woods..

It's a nice path well maintained and it was the old railway line. It has a really cool tunnel..

There are a variety of options to make your walk as long or short as wanted.

TIPS:

Very pleasant walk easy with children can be busy at the weekend
