Frogham nr Hyde

A beautiful, animal filled walk with heathland, a ridge with views, some forest and a stream.

We spotted a deer too!

Merlin enjoying a dip in the stream and a wander through the forest

The Forresters Arms did a super roast lunch and is gluten free! It is locally known as the Donkey Pub. And it did not disappoint.

Length of walk: about 2.5 hours in a loop

TIP: WATCH THIS VIDEO FROM DAVE FOR SOME GEMS that sadly we missed.

I wish I’d found this video of the walk by Dave Ford. We didn’t take the same route and will go back now to find what Dave found!

Postcode: SP6 2JD

Parking details: Abbots Well Car Park

Food stops: The Forrester’s Arms, Frogham

Wheelchair access? There was someone with a walker so I think if you keep to the tracks it is doable

In the route we took, we went to the far back of the car park. Past the pond on your right and then took the trail left
