Morden Bog to Silent Woman

We started off the first little car park on Morden Road (off A351)- watch out for the giant pot hole. Follow the path around the hill- the view from the top of the hill are great and easy to access. Turn right at the first, second and third fork and then left. It should take you to the Silent Woman. There is good phone reception through the walk so if you get lost, you know what to do ;-)
The Silent Woman landlords are lovely - Maddie and Jack - Menu is delicious typical pub food but also a few panini and jacket potatoes, ploughman’s for smaller appetites. They also have a fab garden.
Walk took almost 2 hours to get there as we went zig zagging through the hill, found. Numerous man made dens and try to break the ice (quite hard) so a lot of messing around. Really it is a 1 hour walk at a reasonable pace

TIPS

The car park is not very well indicated. It’s on Morden road. It’s on the left at the bottom of the hill (can’t remember which one) so if you just slow down every time you go downhill you shouldn’t miss it. It’s a very small car park 8/10 well parked cars at most.

If you have kids, look for the den in the hills. If you can go up the hill up, the views are amazing and the gradient not too bad.
