In 2023 we have created 12 Pet Food Banks in 12 months - across Dorset to support this important connection between human and dog, helping to keep families together during this cost-of-living crisis. This is a crisis point in our country: the economic conditions, the XL bully ban, post-Covid spike in breeding of dogs - that are now being re-homed. Our goal is to raise awareness of how important dogs (and pets) are to humans’ wellness. We know both mental and physical health is enhanced by our relationship with dogs.
